Corbels are ornamental brackets of varying sizes, traditionally they were used to finish the ornament on arches and therefore sold in pairs.
Corbels are also used on fire surrounds to support the mantelpiece.
They can also be used as ornamental shelving brackets or on their own as an attractive shelf for either a special ornament or plant. |
