We cover all aspects of work; conservation, restoration, safety inspections, new build and small residential works. 2011 Eisenhower Executive Office Building – Phase III, Washington, DC Restoration of ornamental plasterwork on five floors of the Pennsylvania Avenue Wing 2010 First & Franklin Street Presbyterian Church, Baltimore, Maryland one of the most spectacular Victorian plaster interiors in the USA, Hayles and Howe’s assignment was to determine what was missing, and replicate it to original specifications 2010 Booker T. Washington Middle School, Baltimore, MD Repaired original flat wall plaster and existing archway ornament and designed, fabricated and installed new ornamental plasterwork to match existing. 2010 Blair House, Washington, DC BaswaPhon ceiling in the official guest house of the President of the United States 2011 Maryland Old House of Delegates Chamber, Annapolis, MD Re-created and installed a decorative plaster ceiling and restored the plasterwork in the delegates chamber to its 1870 appearance. 2010 Milwaukee Central Library, Milwaukee, WI Third installment of the phased large-scale scagliola restoration in the Rotunda of the Central Library building 2009 King Edward Hotel, Jackson, MS Large-scale elliptical plaster cornices installed on the ballroom ceiling and sixty ornate plaster column covers in the lobby 2009 Jefferson Hotel, Washington, DC Repaired, replicated and installed ornamental plasterwork and restored 3-coat flat plaster 2009 Boldt Castle, Alexandria Bay, New York Replicated and installed plaster cornices 2009 Beacon Theatre, New York, NY Hayles and Howe plaster and scagliola artisans restored ornamental and flat plasterwork and scagliola in this landmark theatre. 2008 Hanover Theatre Restoration, Worcester, MA In this large 1908 Thomas Lamb theatre, Hayles and Howe were contracted to restore the flat and ornamental plasterwork throughout including loge boxes and a large sail vault. 2007 Rippon Lodge Restoration, Woodbridge, VA Restoration of the lath and plaster throughout this historic house 2007 Virginia State Capitol, Richmond, VA Restoration of the interior ornamental plasterwork throughout this 1784 capitol building designed by Thomas Jefferson |
